La Chaumi&egrave;re is definitely a hidden gem in Strasbourg. Having been living in Strasbourg for four years , and having walked past in front of this restaurant a few times, I would be curious to about it , but that was it. Started using the Fork app and went for the first time and I was surprised with the food quality! The stake quality is the best I ever had in Strasbourg. Food tasted delicious and homemade. The wine was such a treat! The Ambience is lovely. The fireplace/grill gives the impression you&rsquo;re someone&rsquo;s house as a welcomed guest. The restaurant is cosy and very upbeat with lovely, young and very friendly staff who make you feel very welcomed. I will definitely come back and I do recommend it if you want to treat yourself either a nice French food and quality stake.

Somfar from our rather skilled efforts on a kitchen. Food mixed in artful constellations which I would never have thought of. Bit beautiful and extremely interesting to enjoy. We had the decouvert menu 142&euro;&gt;.

A lovely evening, and a very special dinner. The service superb. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Definitely, a treat to repeat!

The menu is not syncronized with the other languages. The 3 course meal was not available. The waiter was friendly and trying hard but  was not familiar with the dishes that were available and which were not.

This restaurant had many options and quite delicious food! If you have dietary restrictions, make sure that the staff is clear as to the restrictions. For instance, I cannot consume dairy (allergy)  and follow a vegan diet (no eggs and meat by choice); I asked the staff if the Naan was vegan, to which they replied yes. So I ordered it. However, after serving the Naan, they later came back and quickly informed me that it was not and contained milk; unfortunately, I had already had a little bit. They were understanding and friendly, but in this case, it was a miscommunication that arose, as the cook or the particular waiter was not sure specifically of the particulars of being vegan (not exactly sure what the misunderstanding was) . Make sure to be clear from the get-go if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies and enjoy the delicious food they have to offer! Other than that, really enjoyed the restaurant.

I had the vegetarian burger, very nice flavor! Frites a little overcook... today (first week of deconfinement) they kept the bathroom closed &ldquo;because of the situation&rdquo;, no chance to clean your hands or to use the toilet (not very coherent)

Food was nice but a bit small. But good taste. Server was excellent service.

We had a great time celebrating my birthday ! Food was delicious, wine list amazing and environment really nice !! Will go back there anytime soon.

We had a wonderful meal at La Chaumi&egrave;re, a small and cozy neighborhood restaurant. All of the food was delicious! The log fire added to the charming ambiance, and the grilled meat was cooked to perfection over the fire! The service was very professional and punctual, and we were also very happy with the discount we received for booking through The Fork. Thank you to the staff at this fabulous restaurant! We will certainly be back soon!
